I live in Arizona and interested in online masters accounting program. Will I be required to go to North Carolina campus for any reason?
Crystal Isler
32:37
@Samuel-- Yes, we will send the recording to everyone that has registered after the webinar!
Daniel Aiello
32:53
Is it important to see a full employment history (internships, college jobs, etc.) or is it better to show just post grad work experience?
Crystal Isler
34:24
@CM-- The only on-campus requirement is the orientation and leadership immersion before the start of classes. It typically takes place from a Friday through Sunday. However, please keep in mind that the orientation has been virtual for the last 5 start terms due to the pandemic.

Did she say "CFA" as in Charter Financial Analyst charterholder program as consideration for waiving the GMAT/GRE?
Crystal Isler
35:34
@Daniel-- You do want to include all relevant employment history including internships and part-time jobs.
Daniel Aiello

Thank you!

I have 2.99 GPA and over 10 years work history in insurance and customer service industry...would I qualify for GMAT/GRE waiver?
Crystal Isler
36:43
@Chris-- Yes! If you have passed all sections of the CPA or CFA exam, you are eligible for a GMAT/GRE exemption.
Grey Davis
36:51
Can both GRE/GMAT scores and alternate test scores be sent? And if yes, will one hold more importance over another?
Crystal Isler
38:55
@CM-- The waiver qualifications are to have at least a 3.0 GPA (non-rounded, cumulative GPA) and at least five years of full-time professional experience. You can always send us a copy of your resume to see if you would qualify for the extraordinary experience exception for the waiver. Our email is mac_info@unc.edu.

the professional experience must be in accounting field? or in any field?
Crystal Isler
40:56
@Grey-- Alternative test scores that are over the 75th percentile are considered competitive, so you don't need to submit GMAT/GRE test scores as well. However, I would evaluate each test score and decide which is the best indicator of your academic ability and submit those scores.
Crystal Isler
42:10
@CM-- The professional experience doesn't have to be in accounting, but the admissions committee will look for relevant analytical experience.
Daniel Aiello
44:38
I may have missed this but who conducts interviews? Is it the admissions team or someone specifically on the team?
Crystal Isler
46:24
@Daniel-- Great question! We have admissions staff members that conduct interviews. We also have hired interviewers that interview applicants for the program.
Daniel Aiello
47:21
Thank you! I’m assuming yes but will we know ahead of time who we’re meeting with?
C M
47:21

Crystal Isler
47:51
@Daniel-- Yes, you will also have their contact information before the interview.
Daniel Aiello
