I would love to know what are some of the hardest decisions you have had to make and how quickly you made them?

44:02
Is layoffs the only hard decisions though

45:25
To Evan, so many small businesses were blocked out of the first round. Did the banks prioritize larger clients that had existing lending relationships? The money is not getting to the entrepreneurs and small businesses with employees under 10 people.

45:36
How can a firm choose whether to preserve cash or try to adapt to market changes? Both? What do banks want to see a client doing?

45:39
Or to invest opportunistically or not

46:04
If we want to follow up with the panelists, what is the best way to touch base after the session?

47:02
Callie will send a follow up email after the session and we can provide an answer to that question

47:21
Thank you.

47:31
Are people asking contractors to do the same work for lower fees? Some clients are asking for me to do the same work or more but doing it on credit. I have not asked my contractors to take less but is that what others are doing?

48:52
I would love to know about lowering payouts to subcontractors so we are spreading the "pain"?

50:02
Diane and Jennifer, we're not seeing that at all.

54:04
When do folks anticipate NC will "reopen"?

54:36
One thing we have been seeing is startups considering contractors instead of additional founders or FTE's to be able to flex more fluidly based on what happens in the near future.

57:18
That’s great Richard.

57:38
I do think it is harder when it’s a client that I have a long relationship with

59:03
Yes, that is tough, that's where the creativity comment that Ms. Gibbs touched on comes in

01:00:14
Yes exactly

01:00:19
Thanks Richard

01:00:39
Please post any additional questions you have for the panelists

01:03:31
I’ve had my two kids come in twice in the last 15 minutes too Evan!

01:03:34
To Evan's point, do you think people are going to want a vacation after all of this is over?

01:04:48
This is somewhat off of the subject of entrepreneur or small businesses, but when we were discussing when we all thought that we could open up; what about the Universities ad colleges? What / when is UNC or Kenan-Flagler planning on?

01:05:42
At this point UNC staff / faculty are planning to be back. In office in July and fall will start as normal .. but that could change.
